Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain those search entries. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted pages, the service may log an IP address, browser information, pages requested, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Data Is Used
Information supports operation, diagnostics, traffic measurement, and content maintenance. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles maintained here.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about personal data a website holds. Ohio research identified no comprehensive statewide consumer-data-broker deletion law. Because we retain very little, a request ordinarily involves the contact mailbox and available server logs; use the Contact page. Public records held by Ohio, Portage County, or township custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the custodian. Ohio's R.C. 149.45 provides a specific online-redaction route for listed protected identifiers, not blanket deletion of accurate public records.
Policy Changes
Changes will be published here. Continuing to use the service after a revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
